- According to the Desert Strike manual, when you rescue guys and drop them off, you restore armor. That's pretty key.
- The map shows all resources such as ammo and fuel, POWs, as well as anti-air weapons. Very useful.
- You don't expend fuel over the water.

- First time I try this on a non-Amiga. Awesome game, also the SEGA Genesis original.
- After moving to my new apartment today, I wanted to do something fun and special, so I set up my TV and my Genesis, and picked a random game from a box. he game turned ou to be Desert Strike, so I tried the first missions. I failed during the Airfields part of the mission. Great game over music.

- After playing Fire Power, I felt like playing a similar game from the air instead. For the first time, I managed use the map carefully, avoid getting hit by anti-air missiles by charging in with Hydras, protected the spy, and beat the first mission.

I failed Campaign 2 two times in a row. The order of targets seems really important, but what actually got me was guys with prison towers.

I read a tip that suggests using Keith Michaels or Carlos Valdez if he's available as a copilot.

The Campaign 2 prison camp is extremely heavily defended, I need to have full ammo and approach very carefully.
